15 Years Ago, on May 2, 2003, CW Anderson and I defeated Hirotaka Yokoi and Kohei Sato to win the NWA Intercontinental tag team titles in Tokyo, Japan.
For CW and I, it was a reward for not only the hard work we put in for Pro-Wrestling ZERO-ONE, but it was a personal reward for our journey together from the Indies to ECW, back to the Indies, and then we found a home promotion 7000 miles away from home.

CW and I always knew our role in ZERO-ONE. We were the supporting players for the big heels like Tom Howard, The Predator, Nathan Jones, or if Hashimoto brought in a no talent turd like Matt Ghaffari (I still blame Ogawa for that mess). We were there to be the entertainment (me) and the bumper (CW), so that we could protect Tom and Bear (Predator) from taking unnecessary loses.

We went from kick ass heels in companies like MLW to more of a comedy team in ZERO-ONE. We loved it. We knew that this was the job The Boss wanted us to do and we weren’t going to let him down.

Winning the NWA Intercontinental tag team titles was like Hashimoto’s way of rewarding us for being team players.
I will always cherish this title win.
